Scott Jennings Claims No Chaos Under Trump Presidency

Scott Jennings, a prominent political analyst, made an even bolder statement about how the present Trump administration works with respect to its operations on Twitter. He tweeted, ‘I have traveled with the President. I have seen him in relation to these meetings. Let me be blunt: There is no chaos. There is no question as to who is running the country. It is President Donald J. Trump.’ As expected, the tweet generated a flurry of comments, both supportive and opposing.

While Jennings said that at no time was there chaos under Trump, that assertion was immediately brought into question. One user claiming to be Martin countered that for the past couple of months, the media would have seen up to four occasions that reviewed exactly what was contrary to Jennings’ statements. ‘Everybody sees these meetings,’ Martin said. ‘They have invited the media to them – 4 so far, I believe, within a mere 4 months. The very fact that we can see with our own eyes and hear the talking heads lie to our very faces about it speaks volumes about their propagandistic ways.’ It’s a point worth considering. If there are meetings that the press can attend, why the difference in narratives?

Except, Jennings did not win supporters from just about everyone. Another user under the login of paulo175xx tagged him ‘public fool.’ He further accused Jennings of attending solely for granting favorable advertisement to Trump’s government. ‘Scott is a public fool. He is being given access so that he can spout nonsense favorable to the administration. Why are they giving a guy with no training or experience?’ Harsh words but a sincerity that shows the suspicion most reserve for sleazy political commentators too tightly connected to any administration.

Regardless of his violations, Jennings’s supporters rushed to defend him. Christopher Kawasaki tweeted: ‘Agreed. Anyone who watches him closely and doesn’t consume MSM will see a purposeful, level-headed leader. That’s why they’ve always discouraged direct consumption of Trump. You’d see it’s the MSM and Dems creating all the chaos.’ Others agreed with this theory and added that whatever media showed that contradicted what Trump did.

Responding to Jennings’ bold inputs only amplified the interest. More conspiracy theories flowed from Cheveyo_Don1224: ‘the Heritage Foundation, the Federalist Society & a bunch more Nazi Republicans are running the country!!!! Donald Trump is just the ACTOR they put in front of you!!!!’ Ouch, that escalated quickly. Andrew Evans stood on the smart side, stating: ‘Our media feels like one big psyop. Thanks for being honest Scott.’

Some comments were simply insane. Barb Matheson asked: ‘What did he smell like?’ because that was apparently the burning question on everyone’s mind. And Tanya would cryptically reply: ‘Let her flip her hair one more time.’ Vibes without any context! Legendary!

Of course, the whole wonder whether the Trump regime earns the qualification of chaos is not a new one. The debate very much resuscitated by Jennings’ tweet. A few, like County MAGA, defended by saying faces of press-included cabinet meetings held during the Biden administration had contributed illegally toward a negative transparency of Trump. Others, like Fred Tee, had no shame confronting Jennings’ claims by arguing, ‘And it’s chaotic. We all see it. You can’t bullshit your way out of that.’

At the end of the day, it is evidenced that the responses to Jennings’ tweet contrasted the perceptions about the Trump presidency. Supporters view a competent and decisive leader; the critics counter him with chaotic propaganda. Others are simply asking what he smells like. How typical of the internet, but what else is new?
