Jack McCollough & Lazaro Hernandez to head design at Spain’s Loewe

Loewe has announced the appointment of designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez as the new creative directors of the Spanish fashion house.

With a career spanning over two decades, the duo—best known as the founders of Proenza Schouler—have consistently influenced the evolution of modern fashion. Their design philosophy, marked by a focus on craftsmanship and artistic sensibility, closely aligns with Loewe’s 179-year legacy of innovation, creativity, and cultural engagement, the company said in a LinkedIn post.

“We are incredibly honoured to join Loewe, a House whose values and mission align closely with our own. We look forward to working alongside its extraordinary teams and artisans, whose talent—under the exceptional creative direction of Jonathan Anderson—has shaped Loewe into the cultural force it is today,” Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez said in a joint statement.
