Tech Dev Notes tweeted something that had everyone’s buzz going. The post was all about access to Grok Voice with Vision, which was dubbed “amazing,” along with a link to check it out. But the replies? Oh man, all over the spectrum. There are super-hot-and-cold fans and skeptics and some who went absolutely conspiracy theory. So let’s break it down.

First comes the excitement. Jammles wrote, “That’s remarkable! Grok keeps getting more intelligent. I am excited for the day Grok can create videos.” That’s the outlook that a lot of people have-genuine curiosity as to where this tech is going.
Bola Banjo kept it short and sweet with “This is acc insane” – same. Linda Law said, “That will be so much fun! Can’t wait to use it!” So yes, hype is real for some.
But others seem to be a little less sold. JamesemaJ noted, “Voices are still kinda flat and not as expressive as gpt tho, and i think it cant speak in other languages.”
Dom piped in after, saying Grok can handle a multitude of languages like French, Portuguese and Spanish. Mixed messages, much? Then there’s TQNY with, “ChatGPT had this capability months ago too. Either way.. a variety is always welcomed.” A definite truth—variety does keep it interesting.
Then there was the… umm… less expected side of the replies. Jet Truth just rambled on about “Dem activist r doing pre plan disruptive outbursts” along the line of “NAZI Brown shirts.” Huh?
Seems a little disjointed from Grok, if you ask me, but then again, that’s Twitter. Another one, feelo, decided to disrespect early adopters sarcastically by saying “early adopters fanbois faggòts.” Real classy.
Some concrete suggestions have also entered the fray. Fineartscapes said, “Now we will not need a translator while we travel. Grok will take care of it for us.” Now that’s the dream, am I right? No more flipping through phrase books.

Ralf Wabe found out you can upload voice recordings to Grok’s app, which is convenient for anyone who’s not a fan of typing. And pusscat.de really had just one thing to say: “Howww? I don’t have it yet.” Feeling.
